Jon Wallace

I love volleyball. I started on the circuit as a junior player; and moved up to play both on the collegiate level as well as professionally. I then coached Division I volleyball for more than 25 years. Currently, I am working for APS as a marketing rep for Nike Volleyball in addition to coaching volleyball at Archbishop Mitty. I formed JW College Placement and Recruiting Services almost two years ago. I recruited 100’s of high school athletes. I also assisted in placing my athletes in professional leagues in Europe. Because I have experience across the board in collegiate athletic, I am uniquely qualified to advise those looking to make the move to competing on the collegiate level. I finished my 20th year as the head coach at Santa Clara University in 2018. Under my tutelage, SCU was an annual top 25 program nationally and a regular participant in the NCAA Tournament. The program reached 13 NCAA Tournaments, including a 2005 Final Four appearance. I coached 10 All-Americans, 12 AVCA All-Region selections and 92 All-West Coast Conference honorees. Those honored included 3 WCC Players of the Year and 5 WCC Freshman of the Year. In addition to my coaching experience, I played Volleyball as a two time All-American at UCSB, and as a Junior, my team finished as the NCAA Championship runner-up. I reside in the Bay Area with my wife Nancy and 3 amazing children.
