Courtney Babcock

Babcock held the Canadian Women's 5000m record for 16 years and formerly held the 10,000m records both set during the 2003 season. She broke the Canadian 5000m record in the final of the 2003 World Track and Field IAAF Championships in Paris, where she finished in eighth place, securing her a spot for the 2004 Olympic Games. Her 1500m time of 4:01.99 was also a top time in the World that year. She is a five-time national champion. Babcock went on to Head Coach of Division 1 Mens and. Women Xcountry and Assistant Track Coach being named Conference Coach of the Year in 2010. Continuing to run as a Masters over 40 Athlete, Babcock is a 3x World Champion in the 1500m and 800m and currently Coaches all levels of runners and hosts retreats around the world through her company Key Running + Retreats I've been fortunate enough to work with High School, College and Adult athletes in my coaching career. I love helping people do more than they think is possible and feel empowered by the work they put in. Everything from qualifying for Boston to a Mom coming back from having kids and wanting consistency. I came to running late in high school after Basketball, tennis and swimming and was able to make it my career for 14 years.
